Prade-Weiss, Juliane
Dr. phil. Juliane Prade-Weiss is an Assistant Professor of Comparative Literature at the Goethe-University Frankfurt, Germany. After studying German and Slavonic literature as well as Philosophy, she earned he Ph.D. in Comparative Literature with a thesis on the Infantile within the human-animal distinction in philosophical and literary texts from Antiquity to Modernity (Sprachoffenheit, 2013). She is editor of the volume (M)Other Tongues: Literary Reflexions on a Difficult Distinction (2013), and has published papers in English and German on exile, animality, autobiography, multilingualism, and surrealism.
