Timár, Andrea

Andrea Timár is Senior Lecturer in English Literature at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungary. She hold Mas in French and English, and a PhD in Literary Studies. She has published articles on British Romanticism, the contemporary novel, and critical theory in Hungary, England, and the United States, as well as translations from French (Pascal, Descartes, de Beauvoir, Derrida) and English (Coleridge, Lukács). Currently, she is working on an English monograph on S. T. Coleridge, and is editing a special issue of the Hungarian journal, Helikon, entitled “Theories of Addiction”.
